Orlando is a great player to have on your team! We used Clarendon for tutoring support during the year leading up to 11+ to great success. We had (eventually) identified that due to some mild learning difficulties our child was behind and we (child and parents) put in a lot of effort to close the gaps in the basics, Clarendon tutors were able to support us along the way at each stage we were at. Orlando listens well, understands the child’s needs and parents ambitions and knows his tutors well. At sometimes short notice, he has found us tutors to support the learning journey and at other times specialised tutors for specific interventions, including at the final stage sending us an ‘Interview wizard’ . Outcome: 10 point CAT improvement, 4 places offered, with one scholarship and one wait list place. No rejections. It is an investment!

The ensemble at Clarendon is impressive - we had great tutors for our two boys, who were well matched by Orlando following a consultation where he brings a lot of experience to the table. The tutors we have used from Clarendon Tutors have all been exceptional. My daughters, 14 and 16, are now both excelling in maths which a few years ago would have been unthinkable.

Clarendon were excellent in helping prepare our eldest son for Maths GCSE and our second son for 11+, so we had no hesitation in using Clarendon again when it was time for our third son to prepare for 11+. Orlando looked after us brilliantly, giving our son an initial assessment at home and online, from which he paired us with a suitable tutor. Fred tutored our son brilliantly over a period of six months, demonstrating a mastery of the subjects and the specific requirements of each exam at each of our target schools. He quickly identified areas for improvement, listened carefully to our requests and observations (as well as to our son’s), and responded by adapting content and approach as appropriate. Critically, Fred inspired our son to learn, and to do his best, by winning our son’s trust and respect right from the first meeting and building a strong working relationship. To cap it all, our son was awarded the maximum academic scholarship at our preferred school. I have no hesitation in giving Clarendon the highest recommendation!

Nino worked wonders with my daughter helping her achieve her potential and the A level grades needed for her degree course.
