Meet the Clarendon Team

Henry

Henry

Director, Head of Operations

In 2009, Henry started his career in education as a gap year student at Eaton House The Manor, before studying Ancient History at Bristol University. In 2014, he decided to train as a teacher and secured a place through Ark Academies to teach History to GCSE and A Level students.

While applying for this position he was working as a TA in the primary sector in North London, specialising in Year 5 and tutoring 11+ entrance preparation to students applying for Latymer and St Pauls. Supporting students through this tricky stage in their educational development was a massive milestone and a hugely rewarding experience for him; he decided to set up Clarendon Tutors that same year to help all students maximise their potential through a network of expert, passionate educators. Henry was educated from 2004-2009 at Eton College.

Orlando has been central in launching the ‘Inspires’ and ‘Stretch’ programmes, as well as pioneering Right School Choice, an online assessment platform with a comprehensive guide to all UK senior independent schools.

Testimonials

A good friend recommended Clarendon after having conducted an extensive review of tutors ahead of securing a tutor for their own daughter. We have been delighted with the support from Orlando and his team. There was an initial meeting with our son to ensure the right tutor was identified in terms of personality fit and academic needs. This was followed by regular check ins, monthly report on progress and sound counsel in respect of future schools. Our son already had his heart set on a particular school and house and with Clarendon’s support he achieved his desired outcome. I couldn’t recommend Clarendon highly enough.
