Who We Are

 

Founded in 2015 by education professionals Henry Serocold and Orlando Simon, Clarendon Tutors is one of London’s best tutoring agencies and educational consultancies. In the last ten years we’ve been featured in the Times, the Telegraph, Tatler, the Good Schools Guide, and more; we’ve been honoured at the last two National Tutoring Awards; and we’re now working in five continents.

With a distinguished cadre of over 400 educators, Clarendon Tutors offers face-toface tuition across a broad spectrum of interests. Our aim is to ignite curiosity and nurture a shared passion for learning. Our tutors create connection as they explore your academic passions in language, history, literature, economics, politics, art, and more.

A Personalized Experience:

  • Our skilled young tutors will come to your residence/home (in London) to engage in a joint conversation on the subjects you are passionate about. Ever wanted to learn Pasticceria level Italian or Romantic Literature?
  • Sessions are tailored to suit you, lasting 60 minutes, and scheduled at your convenience. We offer a trial session for free.
  • Pricing is set at £80 (exc.VAT) for 1-2-1 sessions, and £120 (exc.VAT) for group sessions, for up to 6 participants, which amounts to just £20 per person.

I’ve won the Squint Playwriting Award, associated with the Young Vic, and directed at prominent festivals. I specialize in teaching literature, theatre, and film, spanning from metaphysical poetry to modern-day literature. I offer workshops in fiction, poetry, playwriting, and facilitate drama classes.
